In the Faroe Islands the clouds come down to drink from the sea, and the grass begins exactly where the road ends. I look for the moment the light makes up its mind, and I wait for it.

Scroll to fly along the cliff road.
Into the valley, where the water falls.
A single-lane road, and a long way to go.
Sheep on the ridge, a town below.
And then the whole fjord opens.
Two stills from the air
The same roads and valleys, seen from the sky.

A photographerwho waits
I'm Yuval. I photograph landscapes, roads and quiet places, looking for the frame that's left once the wind drops. This series began on a trip to the Faroe Islands, among villages with turf roofs, lighthouses at the edge of the rock and waterfalls that fall straight into the ocean.
